Clown Hearts 'n Noses All Around!
FRMC Charlie's Chaplains take their funny biz very seriously, as they have gone forth to spread laughter and cheer, mirth and merriment wherever their meandering path has led them for 17 years.
On Rounds recently, spontaneous Nose Transplant procedures were performed on those who shared their own true heart of a clown with us. Pictured here are a few of those happy folk. Don't they look great?! Are you wondering about that one gentleman (L)? Yep -- he got a brown sponge nose in his procedure. But, he asked for it -- and of course thanked us, afterward, too!
Through the years, since this hospital clown ministry began in 1991, many experiences have left indelible prints on our collective clown hearts. As we cheer the patients, visitors and staff, we not only do our important work of sharing healing humor, but we make friends and memories with children of all ages all along our merry way!
Each visit is truly an adventure where all join in to celebrate the Gentle Art of Sharing Hearts!
