New Noses and Toys!

Who doesn't like getting new things? We just received a shipment of fun stuff from Shobi Dobi, Editor of The Hospital Clown Newsletter!

Imagine! A fresh supply of sponge noses for nose transplants, but not just any ol' sponge noses! These are sponge noses of varying hues!!!

We thought it would be incredible to "mix in" a few assorted colored noses with the classic reds, don't you think?! Usually we offer large and small classic reds, so folks can pick their own nose. It's a professional clown courtesy, we think.

More nose color choices sounded pretty interesting to Charlie's Chaplains! We're ramping up for another Nose Transplant Clinic and always love to add new "services" to make the clinic a little different each year. Different colored noses would indeed be 'different'! Sounded like fun! People seem to enjoy our annual Nose Transplant Clinic. To give you an idea, during last year's Nose Transplant Clinic we transplanted nearly 300!

Nose Transplants have also become popular during our Rounds. We perform this important operation year-round, in addition to our Clinic in August. Soooo our supply was dwindling.

In the Volume 11 No. 1 edition of The Hospital Clown Newsletter (the issue Charlie's Chaplains was featured in), Shobi Dobi announced *limited edition* assorted colored noses were available. We thought we'd give it a whirl and so we ordered some.

In the recent newsletter, Shobi Dobi also shared a great prop she uses and that might be a wonderful addition to our Charlie's Chariots, called "Fantastic Boxes." We ordered those along with our nose supply.

Well, the shipment came in on April 10th and is this ever exciting! We will practice with the "Fantastic Boxes" at Family Fair and add those noses to "Charlie's Chariots" in time for our next scheduled Rounds.
