Currently, a work-in-progress newest Character Clown Charlie's Chaplains' coordinator Becky Cortino is pictured here with well-known Tramp Clown Hobo Jim, aka Jim Howle.
A man of many talents, Jim graduated Ringling Brothers Clown College and started to paint portraits of his fellow performers. During his career as an artist and a comic, Jim has been interviewed by more than 30 newspapers and appeared in 6 nationally-televised specials, 2 movies, several magazines and radio talk shows.
Jim Howle's artwork is world-renowned, with works displayed in the Smithsonian Institute, and Leningrad Gallery, as well as in many corporate and private collections, worldwide. As you might imagine -- it was an honor and a thrill for Becky to have Jim help design Petunia PollyWog's face!
The hat is by Pricilla Mooseburger. Petunia PollyWog was featured in Pricilla's newsletter!
