Charlie's Chaplains' Junior Joey Receives COAI International Awards

"Junior Joey" professional clown BJ Cortino, who actively performs as “ ‘King’ GlitterSniff,” is featured in the current issue of The New Calliope magazine for receiving Junior Joey awards at the Clowns of America International (COAI) convention recently held in Richmond, Virginia. “ ‘King’ GlitterSniff” received a silver award for achievement in the art of clowning in Group Performance and a Bronze Award in Single Performance.

Since 1999, “GlitterSniff” regularly performs with his family through FESTIVO! Creative Ministry, and is an integral part of Frye Regional Medical Center’s Charlie’s Chaplains, where he received his initial and continued training.

His specialties include comedy, puppetry and balloon sculpting. To add to his repertoire, he began studying juggling this year.
